What we replace

More than just windshields. Side & rear glass too.

Side and rear glass isn't one-size-fits-all. Here's what each type is and what replacing it involves.

Side door glass highlighted on a vehicle side profile
Side door glass

The primary door windows — front and rear doors. Made of tempered glass that shatters into granules on impact. Replaced via the door panel; cleanup included.

Quarter glass highlighted on a vehicle side profile
Quarter glass

The small fixed windows on the rear pillars of sedans, coupes, and SUVs. Stationary (non-moving) and bonded in place with urethane, similar to the windshield.

Rear windshield (back glass) at the rear of a vehicle

Also called the backlite. Usually tempered, sometimes laminated on newer vehicles. If your rear window has a defroster, the replacement glass includes the defroster grid.

Vent & wing windows

The small triangular windows at the leading edge of the front doors. Older vehicles have operable vent windows; newer ones are typically fixed. Often targeted in break-ins due to their small size.

If your window was broken in a break-in

Broken-in vehicles need more than a glass replacement. Before we arrive, here's what to do:

1
Document everything

Take photos of the broken glass and any missing or disturbed items before touching anything. This protects your insurance claim.

2
Cover the opening

Use a heavy-duty garbage bag and tape, or a towel, to keep rain and dust out until the technician arrives. Don't drive the vehicle until the glass is replaced.

3
Don't vacuum the glass yourself

Tempered glass granules get into door panels and seat seams. Our technician handles the cleanup — using the wrong vacuum technique can push glass further into the door mechanism.

4
File the claim — we help

A break-in is a comprehensive claim event. We confirm your glass coverage (ARS 20-264) and handle the insurance paperwork. You don't need a police report for the glass claim, though one helps with any stolen property claim.

How it works

From broken to replaced in about an hour.

1

Quote and confirm glass availability

Tell us your vehicle details and which window is damaged. We verify the replacement glass is in stock — most common door glass and rear windows ship same-day from our Phoenix-area suppliers. We confirm availability before scheduling.

2

We arrive and handle the cleanup first

Your technician arrives at your home, office, or parking lot. Before installing the new glass, they vacuum the interior, door tracks, and seat surfaces to remove glass granules. A broken-into vehicle gets extra attention.

3

New glass installed, window tested

The new glass is installed, door seals and moldings are seated, and the window regulator is tested through its full range of motion. For rear windows with defrosters, the heating element is verified before we leave.

Where we go

Mobile across the entire Valley — and now Tucson.

If you're anywhere in the Phoenix metro or Tucson, we'll come to you. Pick your city for response times, neighborhoods served, and local details.

Common questions

Side & back window replacement, answered.

In most cases yes — same-day availability is standard across the Phoenix metro and Tucson. Call us or start a quote online and we'll confirm the glass is in stock and schedule a technician. Rare or specialty glass may require ordering, but we'll tell you immediately if that's the case.
Yes, if you have comprehensive coverage in Arizona. Under ARS 20-264, insurers must offer glass coverage with no deductible — the same option that covers windshields covers side and rear glass. We confirm your coverage before any work starts and bill your carrier directly.
Yes. A break-in is a comprehensive claim event, not a collision claim. As long as you have comprehensive coverage, the glass deductible is waived under Arizona law. The police report is optional but can be helpful for the claim. We handle the insurance paperwork either way.
Yes. Tempered side glass shatters into small granules. Your technician vacuums the interior, door panel, and seat before installing the new glass. We don't leave broken glass in the vehicle.
We replace rear windshields (backlites), heated rear windows, rear quarter glass on sedans and coupes, and rear vent windows. If your rear window has a defroster, the replacement glass includes the defroster grid.
Don't leave your vehicle unprotected.
