Why ADAS calibration matters as much as the glass.
If your vehicle has features like lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, or adaptive cruise control, there's a forward-facing camera mounted to your windshield powering them. That camera is the eye behind your ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).
When the windshield is replaced, that camera's position changes by fractions of a millimeter — which is enough to throw off the calibration. Without recalibration, your ADAS can read the road incorrectly. Some shops skip this step entirely. Others charge extra and send you to a dealership for a separate appointment. We do neither.
