When Do I Repair and When Do I Replace?

Arizona  law lets you choose repair or replacement, but insurers usually follow ANSI Z26.1 guidelines:


  • Repair small damage outside the driver’s primary sight line & not in the outer 2″ edge band.
  • Replace anything larger than a credit card, deep enough to hit the inner PVB layer, or intersecting ADAS camera zones.
